South Bay Adult Day Services
Providing Individual, Family and Community Recovery Services
Partial Hospital Program
The focus of South Bay's Partial Hospital Program is to provide an intermediate level of care that offers the intensity and structure of an inpatient program, with the less restrictive environment of outpatient care. The Program is used as a hospital diversion or as a transition from an inpatient facility to the community. The Partial Hospital Program differs from Psychiatric Day Treatment in that the services are more intensive and the programming is highly structured. There is continuous contact with our psychiatrists and nurses on a regular basis.
Our services include assessments, group therapies, individual counseling, psycho-educational group projects, family consultation and community-based activities. Our goal is to enhance the stability, safety and sobriety of our clients by focusing on a holistic and hopeful approach to wellness.
We are committed to actively collaborating with all providers and members of our clients' support network. Team members attend outreach meetings, visit the homes of clients, attend team meetings and coordinate services with other community-based programs.
We believe in the value of integrating recovery-oriented and consumer focused approaches within our programs. These include respecting people's lived experiences, acknowledging their areas of expertise, helping to promote increased decision making and self-management.
