Psychiatrist
Full time and part time board certified psychiatrist. Immediate opening in our Attleboro/Fall River offices.

RNCS  Psychiatric/Mental Health (Full or Part Time)

Attleboro, Fall River, Plymouth, Swansea and Yarmouth        

South Bay seeks a Registered Nurse Clinical Specialist for our southeastern Massachusetts clinics to provide a continuum of community-based services to children, adults, and families. In this role you will gain valuable experience as you work with our professional and innovative clinical team to provide clients with a full range of services for their mental health and substance abuse recovery needs including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, and mental illness. Specific Duties will include: 

  • Examine patients to determine general physical condition following standard medical procedures
  • Consult with outside agencies, referral sources, other professionals as needed
  • Order laboratory and other special diagnostic tests and evaluate data obtained
  • Determine nature and extent of mental disorder and formulate a treatment program
  • Treat and direct treatment of patients utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications
  • Provide medication management for patients of the clinic
  • Responds to client emergencies as required

As a Registered Nurse Clinical Services, you will receive training after hiring and you will need to be highly organized with solid time management skills as well as adaptable to a fast paced work environment.

 

Specific qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school. Current registration by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Completion of two (2) years of full-time supervised clinical experience in a multidisciplinary mental health setting. Eligible for certification as a Clinical Specialist in psychiatric/mental health nursing by the American Nursing Association. A licensed Clinical Nurse Specialist as defined by the ANCC Certification Board and Mass Board of Nursing.

Family Service Provider - NO LONGER ACCEPTING RESUMES
South Bay seeks a Family Service Provider to offer structured, one-to-one, strength-based support services to youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social, and communication needs. Therapeutic Mentoring services include supporting, coaching, and training the youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution, and relating appropriately to other children and adolescents, as well as adults, in recreational and social activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Services preferred along with related experience with the target population. Please contact us for site availability.

Specific qualifications for the following clinical positions Include:

  • Master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a Master's degree with a concentration in one of those areas
  • Comfortable with a flexible work schedule
  • Having experience or understanding of underserved populations
  • LCSW, LICSW or LMHC license a plus.

Clinical Social Worker/Behavioral Clinician

South Bay seeks Masters Level Mental Health Therapists to provide a continuum of community-based services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a therapist on one of our teams, you will gain experience doing individual, family, couples, and group therapy.  You will work with a diverse population with a variety of experiences including intensive family issues, trauma, forensics, substance abuse, behavior management, mental illness, abuse and neglect, dual diagnosis, hospital diversion, and school-based issues.

Child and Family Therapist
South Bay's teams of Social Workers, Counselors, and Psychologists provide a continuum of community-based services to children, adults, and families. Trauma Therapist
South Bay Mental Health Center's Trauma Team currently seeks Master's level therapists to work with children and families who have experienced physical, emotional or sexual trauma in their lives. This is an exciting opportunity to work and train as part of a team of clinicians with extensive experience and certification in a variety of areas including sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual offending services, and trauma-specific substance abuse services.

Substance Abuse Counselor
South Bay's Dual Diagnosis Team provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families touched by addiction. Our program treats clients who have a mental illness, developmental delay, or history of abuse, combined with a substance abuse addiction. A strong referral base from courts, hospitals, schools, shelters and other substance abuse treatment programs will give you the opportunity to utilize your training and education to treat individuals, groups and families from diverse populations.

Early Childhood Social Worker

Brockton, Fall River, Worcester and Lowell
Social Workers work with children and families receiving Early Intervention services. You will work with young children with behavior and attention difficulties, disabilities, and developmental and environmental issues. You will also provide services to parents and family members and consultation to team members. Candidates must possess MSW degree and current licensure as a LCSW or LICSW by the Massachusetts Registry of Social Work. Full-time positions are available with flexible

schedules.

Partial Hospital Social Worker- Licensed

Plymouth and Yarmouth
South Bay's expanding Partial Hospital Programs seek senior-level clinicians to facilitate and lead psychotherapy groups and conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for clients. Senior Clinicians design group curricula, participate in treatment planning and consult with members of our multidisciplinary team. Full-time and flexible relief positions are available. Candidates must possess current LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, or MSN licensure. Will also accept license eligible MSW candidates.

Each year, South Bay offers a limited number of opportunities for recent Master's level graduates to participate in our Post Master's Licensure Program. This program offers the unique opportunity to work with a diverse clinical population while receiving the resources and support to become independently licensed in Massachusetts. Participants in the Program receive extensive mentoring, coaching, licensed supervision, and access to clinical trainings for the Continuing Education Units necessary for licensure.
