South Bay's Outpatient Programs are located in Attleboro, Brockton, Fall River, Lawrence, Lowell, New Bedford, Plymouth, South Yarmouth, Weymouth, and Worcester. South Bay provides a continuum of care to children, adolescents, adults and their families.
Mental Health and Counseling Services At South Bay, the goal of treatment is to encourage individuals and families to become self-sufficient and live as independently as their abilities allow. In support of our clients' self-sufficiency, South Bay provides a continuum of services including:
Substance Abuse Counseling ServicesSouth Bay's Substance Abuse Treatment Program offers one-on-one and group substance abuse counseling to individuals, family members, and entire families touched by addiction. South Bay is dedicated to supporting substance abusers throughout their recovery and strengthening families. Dual Diagnosis The Dual Diagnosis Program treats clients who have a mental illness, developmental delay, or history of abuse, combined with a substance abuse addiction. The Program is dedicated to providing quality, multi-dimensional care that includes motivational assessment, behavioral modification, and psychiatric services. Specialized Forensic Services South Bay's Specialized Forensic Program works with adolescents, adults, and their families involved with the criminal justice system. Working with the client, their family, and court and judicial representatives, plans are developed to prevent re-offending, foster reintegration into society, and build strong support systems. Trauma Therapy Services Trauma clinicians specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families who have experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. Team members possess extensive certification and specialty training in sexual abuse, trauma evaluations, domestic violence, fire setting, parenting, and crisis work.
Family Services
South Bay's Family Services Program provides individual and family treatment for clients ages 3 and older. Clinicians are specialized in working with individuals, families, couples and groups. Therapists collaborate with other community providers such as schools, courts, hospitals, day care centers and after-school programs to provide comprehensive treatment for our clients and their families. The Clinical Team South Bay's Team includes social workers, counselors, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists. They are trained in a variety of specialty areas including cultural competency, substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and trauma. This expertise makes team members uniquely qualified to handle the variety of experiences they may encounter when working with high-risk, multi-problem families. |
